All students, grades K-12 who are new to USD 443 must register at First Stop Enrollment Center. Students grades K-5 choose first, second, and third choice schools. Assignment will be made at the time of registration. If space is not currently available at your first school choice, students will be assigned to an available school and placed on a waiting list for your first choice school.

For kindergarten or students who are new to the district:

Call First Stop Enrollment at 620-471-2117 for an appointment.
- Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Call Technology at 620-371-1080 to set up a Skyward Family Access account.
- Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Log in to Skyward Family Access to enroll.

Please bring the following documents with you to First Stop at the time of enrollment:

Birth Certification
Immunization Record
Parent/Guardian ID
Physical required for students under the age of 9 or those enrolling for the first time

A parent or legal guardian must be present. Please bring identification.

Order a birth certificate from the State of Kansas or any other state.

6th – 8th Grade Placement:

Students new to the district, will be assigned to a middle school based on available classroom space at the time of enrollment. Consideration for placement shall include maintaining a balanced enrollment between the two middle schools and the placement of K-5 siblings.

Current USD 443 students will be assigned to a middle school from the feeder schools as follows:

Comanche Middle School: Beeson, Central, Ross and Soule.

Dodge City Middle School: Linn, Miller, Northwest, Sunnyside.
