SMART Technology in the Classroom

Several teachers at Ross Elementary received new technology. They are utilizing the boards to engage students by their ability to interact with it and it allows teachers another way to provide instruction that meets the needs of the various learning styles in their classrooms. In the picture, we see, 4th grade teacher Mrs. Guerrero, collaborating with her class to complete a Venn Diagram during reading. They were comparing fish and sharks from their text selection for that day. There will be a gradual purchase in the next few years for all classrooms to be equipped with this type of technology.
