Dodge City Public Schools –  Casey Long received the Teacher of Promise Award from Newman University – Kansas. The Kansas Teacher of Promise program recognizes two teacher education students each year from their college or university. The program offers opportunities to network with educators and policy leaders, to attend workshops and the Kansas Teacher of the Year State Awards Banquet.

This is a well-deserved recognition for the dedication and passion she brings to education.  Casey Long is a third grade teacher at Northwest Elementary.
