BOE votes to close early the week of Thanksgiving

Families and Students,

DCPS is one of the few districts fortunate in keeping our doors open for in-person and remote learning options. It is because of our teachers, staff and community that we were able to not only open, but to remain open.  We are so proud of what we have accomplished together.  That is why our Board of Education voted to close the district November 23-27 to allow extra time for our school community to re-energize for the winter months. 

School will resume November 30 for all students.

Please continue your efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.  We hope that the extended break will lower the number of active cases in the community. Thank you for your commitment to our schools, students, and families.
