Home

As construction of the new Administration building progresses, Spring Break has been identified as the most opportune time to move District IT services. Network equipment, phone service, and data servers will be moved to thier new location during the week of March 16. Phones, Internet, email, shared and home folders, and Filemaker will all be down for a period of time. The following schedule outlines the anticipated moves and outages. It will be updated as the move progresses.

List of Activities...

March 16, 7:30am – The district’s network will be shutdown. This will affect computer logins, Internet access, wireless, phones, home and shared folders, and Filemaker. Time clocks can be used, but clock-ins and outs will not report to Time Center until the network and Internet is restored.

March 16, 7:00pm – Phone service remains down. We were able to move several pieces of important equipment that will help things progress more rapidly on Tuesday.

March 17, 7:00 pm. Most buildings are connected to our network and many servers are up. Home and Shared drives should be accessible from a wired computer withing the district. United continues to restore phone service.

March 18, Internet service has been restored. Email and much of Filemaker are available. For those working in a district building, Home and Share drives are available along with print services. Phones and wireless are now functioning. VPN is also available using Cisco AnyConnect. For the most part, things are back to normal with only a few minor things needing done.
